Friends Are Great

Especially when they are those we love.

We've been lucky to have Lily over a couple of times while Melissa goes for her Doctor appointments. They are starting to be so cute together, I love it.

What have we been up to since Christmas?

He is using utensils a lot better at meal time.

He does really well but usually gives in to the tempation at the end of breakfast.

He is good at building things like this 3-object tower. He did this all on his own while I was doing the dishes. I thought it was cute.

He learns a lot of things in the highchair.

First Haircut

This was Charlie's official first haircut. (more than just a snip here and there). He doesn't have a lot of hair on top so it may not appear to be long but it was needed. And please don't look at me, I feel like a dweeb.After watching my clients for many months it was finally Charlie's turn, and he knew the routine. He was a perfect client, and handsome one too. After, all cleaned up.

This is the first time that he sat through a show while I cut someone's hair, it was a good day.
And THIS is where I found him when all was quiet in the house and the empty cereal boxes mysteriously disappeared from the recycling pile. In our closet. Can you see the look of surprise\excitement\guilt? This is definately one of my favorite moments ever!

Our Dracula

We had such a fun Halloween this year. Getting Charlie all ready to go was almost as fun as the running around. This Dracula idea was 100% Denny's, and it was a GOOD one.He had a birthday\Halloween party to play at. He caught on to the trick-or-treat routine quickly. Grab candy, place in bag, and take off running. We love where we live and ended up running into four different friends from our ward, all live close, and had fun walking with them.
He held on to the bag the whole night, death grip.

We put him to bed, ate his candy with friends, and watched a show while handing out a couple pieces of candy to our own visitors. It was a lot of fun!
